Wire bending + laser + robot integrated non-standard production line
Project Overview
This integrated system combines non‑contact laser stripping, a six‑axis industrial robot for material transfer, and multi‑axis bending. Whole coils of enameled copper wire are fed directly — no pre‑cutting or offline stripping required. The robot acts as the flexible backbone between laser stripping and bending stations, breaking traditional linear layouts and enabling parallel processing for higher throughput and rapid changeover.
Handles round wire (φ1.0–6.0mm) or flat wire (4–20mm width). CO₂ or fiber laser (Trumpf/IPG optional). 6‑axis robot (KUKA, FANUC, Estun) with ±0.05mm repeatability. Bending accuracy ±0.5°, feeding ±0.1mm. One technician supervises the entire line. Changeover ≤3 minutes via program recall.
Active Pay‑off & Multi‑Roller Straightening
Servo‑driven pay‑off (200–500kg coils) with tension arm, dual‑station for non‑stop coil change. 16–24 cross‑roller straightener, straightness ≤0.3mm/500mm (X/Y axes).
Non‑Contact Laser Stripping
CO₂ or fiber laser with scanning head. Fully enclosed with fume extraction. No scratching, no blackening, zero consumables. Stripping position accuracy ±0.5mm, adaptable to various insulation thicknesses.
6‑Axis Robot Material Transfer
Reach 1.5–1.8m, load 10–20kg. Robot picks stripped wire from feeder, transfers to bender, then unloads finished part to tray. Enables U‑shaped/L‑shaped cell layouts, multi‑part parallel processing.
Multi‑Axis 3D Bending & Cutting
Rotary turret bending head (0–330°), 8–12 servo axes. Supports planar, spatial, and twist bending. Angle accuracy ±0.5°. Servo cutting, length accuracy ±0.2mm, burr‑free.
Robot Unloading & Palletizing
Same robot retrieves finished bent part and places onto tray or conveyor. Optional vision‑guided precision stacking. Fully automated from coil to packed parts.
Quick Changeover & Modular Design
Program recall + parameter fine‑tuning. Changeover ≤3 minutes. Quick‑change robot grippers, interchangeable laser/bending modules — ideal for EV drive windings, transformer leads, high‑mix production.
