Automobile exhaust pipe hook heading and bending
Project Overview
This integrated machine combines cold heading and multi‑axis bending in one cycle with precision of ±0.1mm. Compatible with both solid bars and hollow tubes. Heads up to 12mm diameter without heating – replaces multiple manual operations with a single machine.
Ideal for automotive exhaust pipe hangers (muffler brackets). Integrated process: coil loading → straightening → servo feeding → cold heading (one or both ends) → multi‑axis bending → cutting → finished part collection.
Heavy‑Duty Pay‑off & X/Y Straightening
Servo active pay‑off (max 1500kg coil, φ1900mm). Multi‑roller straightener for φ6–12mm round steel or hollow tube, eliminates coil stress.
High‑Power Servo Feeding & Cold Heading
3 feed rollers (15kW servo) with closed‑loop control. Heading motor (15kW) performs cold forming up to 12mm diameter – no high‑frequency heating required. Heading accuracy ±0.1mm, smooth surface finish.
8‑Axis Full Servo Bending
Swing arm motor (3.5kW) + bending motor (2.0kW). Supports planar and spatial bending. Programmable angles – recall saved programs for repeat orders.
Precision Cutting & Hollow Tube Option
Servo cutting (1.0kW) for solid bars. For hollow tubes: optional rotary slotting before heading, then snap‑cut without deformation. Cut length accuracy ±0.2mm.
One Machine Replaces Multiple Operations
Heading + bending in one cycle. Eliminates press + hydraulic press + manual handling. One operator can manage several machines.
Performance & Reliability – Import Alternative
Japanese Sanyo servos, German Neugart reducers, Taiwan Hiwin ball screws. Machine weight ~10,000kg. Comparable to Korean NICE machines at lower cost & faster service.
